Your yearly storage renews automatically

Your first year of storage is included in the price. After that, your TapPass renews automatically every year for £45 + VAT (£54.00 including VAT), taken from the card you paid with.

To stop it renewing, tell us at least 14 days before your renewal date. Email designers@mcadesign.uk or call 02392 984788. If you tell us later than that, the renewal goes ahead and your cancellation applies from the following year.

We will email you a reminder at least 30 days before each renewal, showing the date and the price.

1. Who we are

TapPass is provided by MC Architectural Design Ltd ("MCA Design", "we", "us"), company number 13344504, VAT number 517 6817 68, Hampshire, United Kingdom. Contact: designers@mcadesign.uk, 02392 984788.

2. What you are buying

  • TapPass: 1 NFC tag with a QR code, a private online record for one property, and 2 GB of storage for the first year.
  • TapPass Plus: 1 main tag and 2 room tags, a private online record for one property, and 5 GB of storage for the first year.
  • Extra room tags can be added to either plan.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown including VAT at 20%. You pay in full when you order. Postage within the UK is free.

4. Delivery and setting up

We aim to set up your record within 1 working day, and post your tags within 2 to 4 working days. We email you a link to log in.

5. Renewal and cancelling the yearly storage

  1. Your storage period starts on the day we set up your record and lasts 12 months.
  2. At the end of each 12 months it renews automatically for a further 12 months at the renewal price then in force. The current price is £45 + VAT.
  3. We will remind you by email at least 30 days before each renewal date. If the price is changing, the reminder will tell you.
  4. To stop the next renewal, tell us at least 14 days before the renewal date by email or phone. We will confirm in writing.
  5. If you stop renewing, your record stays available for 30 days after the end of your paid year so you can download your files. After that, it and its files are deleted.

6. Your right to cancel your order

You can cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive your tags and get a full refund, as long as the tags have not been fixed in place. Tell us by email or phone. We refund you within 14 days, using the card you paid with.

7. Using TapPass

  • Storage is for records about the building and your household: PDF, JPEG and PNG files up to 25 MB each.
  • You are responsible for what you upload. MCA Design does not check the accuracy of uploaded documents.
  • Keep your login email secure. Anyone with access to that email account can log in.

8. Lost or damaged tags

If a tag is lost or damaged, we will switch it off and can supply a replacement for the extra tag price. Your records are not affected.

9. Your data

Your files are stored in the UK. Only you and MCA Design can see them. See our privacy notice for details. You can download everything at any time.

10. Our liability

We take reasonable care to keep the service running and your files safe, but we recommend keeping your own copies of important documents. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer.

11. Changes and law

We may update these terms. We will email you about any change that affects your renewal before it applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
